Optometry technician or assistant

Duties and responsibility:  Fit and dispense glasses and contact lens for patients. Order prescription eyewear.

Salary: 36,110 per year

Education: technical training in optometric terminology, ocular anatomy and patient pre-testing skills, as well as clinical experience, which includes working directly with doctors and patients.

Demand or need for this profession: I think we need more optometry technician because eyesight is very important to us so we need everything we can do to not make people blind or have poor vision.

Reflection: I don't think i would want to be this profession because it doesn't seem interesting but it is very beneficial.
